Fully edentulous maxilla - a "different" treatment approach

A 65-year-old female patient came for a complete-arch treatment.  The aim was to re-position the old removable denture in its original position to be able to transfer it into a cement-retained provisional denture.

Immediate loading in the edentulous mandible for CAD/CAM prostheses

A 72-year-old female patient was affected by the poor fit of her existing mandibular complete denture, especially the constant movement while chewing. The final treatment included a new maxillary complete denture and a mandibular implant fixed complete denture.

Single all-ceramic crown to replace discoloured right central incisor crown

A 56-year-old female patient was bothered by the darker shade of her right central incisor crown in comparison to the adjacent teeth. To fulfill the patient's need, a single-hand veneered zirconia crown was chosen as a treatment.

A 23-year-old female patient presented herself with a traumatically injured maxillary central incisor. The tooth had been bonded multiple times unsuccessfully with resin. An all-ceramic E-max crown was selected as the treatment option.

A 53-year-old female patient presented with the molar removed, preserving the buccal plate and there was sufficient bone to place an implant in an optimal restorative position. The tooth was extracted and an implant placed.

A 75-year-old female patient with multiple medical conditions asking for dental implants to improve her masticatory function. As such, the All-on-4® treatment concept protocol for the mandible and later on a flapless implant surgery for the maxilla have been employed.

Guided surgery for a fixed edentulous rehabilitation

A 65-year-old male healthy patient, who had already experienced implant reconstruction of his lower jaw some 12 years previously, wished to find a fixed alternative to his troublesome removable prosthesis. A good volume of bone and of keratinized tissues remained.

A 47-year-old male patient diagnosed with a maxillary osteosarcoma, treated with excision, leaving a large oro-antral / oro-nasal fistula. He had to wear an obturator which leaked and was uncomfortable, affecting speech & function with a severe impact on his quality of life.

Single anterior tooth replacement

A 21-year-old female patient presented with a fractured anterior incisor #11 FDI (#8 US). Pre-operative 3D-CT showed an intact buccal bone plate. The incisor had to be extracted, an immediate implant and an immediate provisional restoration were placed the same day.

Successful esthetic implant therapy in site of past failure

A 54-year-old female patient presented with 2 implant failures as well as a bone graft failure. As a result of an apical surgery, an amalgam tattoo was evident on the buccal aspect. The compromised pink aesthetics, as well as prosthodontic discrepancies, were evident.
