FOR ELP 2.0 (2024-2025)
Exciting News regarding the FOR Emerging Leader Program 3.0 (Future Edition)
We are thrilled to share that the FOR Emerging Leader Program (ELP) has been an incredible success in these last 3 years! Over the past 2 editions (ELP 1.0 and ELP 2.0), we have welcomed 34 new future leaders into the FOR family, and we couldn't be more proud of the talent and potential within our ranks.
As we look towards the future, we believe it is essential to take a moment to reflect and strategize on how best to nurture and support this exceptional and young community that we started with only 3 years ago.
Therefore, in order to achieve these objectives of creating a community, we will be pausing the acceptance of new candidates for the next edition of the FOR ELP, the 2026 / 2027 edition. During this time, we will focus on investing in the growth and development of our current ELP members, addressing any gaps they may have, and ensuring they become well-rounded key experts well-equipped for future challenges. The ELP Council will also make use of the experience that we have gained in this project so far to make the ELP even more attractive and impactful to clinicians around the world. The Council plans to take this chance to evaluate the optimal timing and audience for the program, ensuring it maximizes value and supports participant growth and development.
We are excited about the journey ahead and remain very much committed to creating a robust and thriving FOR ELP community. Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we invest in the future leaders of our organization.

Our Emerging Leader Council guiding our program
Focused on the identifying and developing future leaders, the FOR Emerging Leader Council strives to ensure the creation of an international scholarly community in oral rehabilitation.
Program Timeline
The program spans over the course of 2 years and is organized in 4 phases from program set-up, application and candidate selection, moving into the practical work phase and concluding with a certification phase. We are continuously working on the program events timeline and logistics (including workshops, conferences, seminars, round tables) and creating opportunities for Emerging Leaders to learn and present. We strive to provide the exact dates for each of these program events at least 3-6 months in advance.
2024: Q1 & Q2
- Jan (exact date TBC): Online program kick-off meeting
- April / May (exact date TBC): Mastering High-Impact Communications (Module 1 - Online)
- June / July (exact date TBC): A FOR event with potential lecturing opportunities & Mastering High-Impact Communications (Module 2- Online or F2F)
- Also during Q1 you will have: Mentor pairing exercise, clinical residencies & round tables
