Hong Kong Study Club Series - 18th September, 2025

This is the webpage for the FOR Hong Kong Study Club taking place on September 18th, 2025.

Topic: Advancing Full Arch Rehabilitation: The Role of Tilted Implants in Modern Implantology

Full arch rehabilitation represents a cornerstone of contemporary oral rehabilitation, offering transformative solutions for edentulous patients seeking functional and aesthetic restoration. This session explores the innovative application of tilted implants as a strategic approach to overcome anatomical challenges, such as limited bone volume in the posterior regions, while minimizing the need for extensive bone grafting procedures. Drawing on evidence-based protocols, including the All-on-4 concept and its variations, we will delve into biomechanical principles, surgical techniques, and prosthetic considerations that optimize implant stability, load distribution, and long-term success rates. Case studies will illustrate patient selection criteria, preoperative planning with digital workflows, and postoperative manufacturing of provisional restoration for immediate loading. Attendees will gain practical insights into integrating tilted implants into their clinical practice, enhancing treatment efficiency and patient outcomes. This interactive study club event fosters collaborative discussion among oral health professionals, aligning with the Foundation for Oral Rehabilitation's (FOR) mission to advance education and innovation in oral care.
