Hong Kong Study Club Series - 19th August, 2025

This is the webpage for the FOR Hong Kong Study Club taking place on August 19th, 2025.

Topic: Soft Tissue Management in Implant Therapy

As Dr. Mario Ruccuzzo, an Italian periodontist, emphasizes, "Osseointegration is easy, soft tissue integration is difficult, and long-term success is complicated." Modern implant therapy has evolved from bone-driven to prosthetically-driven, and now to a periodontally-driven approach, emphasizing the importance of peri-implant tissue health for long-term success.

  • Stay at the forefront of modern periodontics and implant dentistry by understanding the vital role of soft tissue quality and quantity.
  • Minimize postoperative complications associated with hard tissue procedures.
  • Prevent biological peri-implant issues, thereby enhancing the longevity and success of your implant therapies.
  • Acquire the skills necessary to manage and resolve complications confidently.
