Evaluation of gradually anodized surface on four implant systems. A prospective, thousand-patient real-world study.
Introduction
Patients increasingly expect superior esthetics, shorter time to teeth, and lasting solutions. Supporting early osseointegration and healthy soft tissues by optimizing the implant surface, through gradual anodization from a moderately rough apex to the minimally rough collar, aims to limit peri-implantitis and facilitate cleaning. A large-scale real-world data collection from routine practice evaluated the clinical performance of TiUltra surface across four implant systems in a diverse population with varying comorbidities and demographics.
Key Results
- Early soft tissue health assessment did not identify any sites with severe inflammation or abundance of plaque, with over 90% experiencing either absence or only mild condition.
- At the time of data extraction, survival was 98.4%.

While planning for prosthesis why was DTI FP1 not preferred in this case ??
Screw retained DTI FP1, also a segmental 3 on 6 could have been a much better choice ??
