This lecture will reveal an amazing treatment journey extending the boundaries of minimally invasive guided surgery and prosthetics. Prof. Alessandro Pozzi was formally trained in the interrelated areas of implant surgery, prosthodontics and laboratory technology. He personally performs both surgical and prosthetic parts of the implant treatment. His expertise focuses primarily on the integrated digital workflow in implant dentistry, computer guided surgery and prosthodontics with CAD/CAM technology. Dr Pozzi has been conducting clinical research to validate cutting-edge digital technologies, new implant designs, and minimally invasive immediate implant rehabilitation concepts. Former Research Scientist and Professor of Oral Rehabilitation at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, he currently holds the Interim Chair of Oral Surgery-Implantology at the Marche Polytechnic University, Italy. A faculty member of the advanced clinical training program in surgical implant dentistry at UCLA University, he is also a guest lecturer in the continuing education. He has been teaching both specialization courses and masters programs worldwide and in his own practice in Rome, as well as lecturing at several international congresses.
