Dr. Wöhrle discusses how to use digital workflows in your implant practice, utilizing data acquisition by means of CBCT and surface scanning to create predictable implant treatment. He uses clinical examples to demonstrate how to use digital tools for treatment planning and using surgical guides for accurate implementation.
Dr. Peter Wöhrle received DMD and MMedSc (oral biology) degrees from Harvard University School of Dental Medicine, in addition to a specialty certificate in prosthodontics and a specialty certificate in implant dentistry. Prior to his studies in Boston, he completed a four-year dental technician program in Switzerland. At Harvard, he worked with others on developing the concept of Immediate Loading with Brånemark implants. Later, he applied these principles to the single tooth and the concept of immediate tooth replacement. He lectures worldwide, and his practice in Newport Beach, California, focuses exclusively on dental implants.
