Ye Lin: Immediate implant restoration in Chinese patients with severe periodontitis

Chinese oral health surveys reveal, that over 90 % of edentulous Chinese patients loose their teeth because of long-term severe periodontitis. Chinese patient do not or a not able to seek regular dental check up's and treatment due to time, cost or cultural reasons. Dr Lin is reviewing the parameters of the All-on-4 treatment solution and discusses that the All-on-4 concept provides an economical solution for many of Chinese patient's requests such as short treatment time with minimum amount of clinical appointments and reduced interference with daily life, immediate restoration, minimal invasive, graftless implant placement and easy hygiene and restoration maintenance. Dr Lin concludes that the All-on-4 concept has the potential to start a new era for treatment of edentulous patients in China.
