Yingying Wu

Biography

Yingying Wu received a D.D.S. at the West China School of Stomatology in Sichuan University under the guidance of Professor Ping Gong in 2013. In the same year, She was employed by the department of oral implantology in the West China Hospital of Stomatology in Sichuan university. From 2013 to 2014, She was transferred to the School of Dental Medicine in the University of Pennsylvania, as a visiting scholar, and subsequently became an associate professor in 2016. She was broadly interested in oral implant surgery and prosthodontics. Up to now, she has gained a great number of projects, including the General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Youth Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Excellent Young Scholars Research Fund of Sichuan University, the New Clinical Technology Project of West China Hospital of Stomatological of Sichuan University, the “Miaozi” Project of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and the Start-up Fund for Scientific Research of Young Teachers of Sichuan University, etc. In addition to her research, she has published nearly 30 papers and participated in the editing of 4 monographs. Her current researches are focused on the area of the impact of aging and diabetes on soft and hard tissues regeneration, as well as the influences of the composition and changes of oral flora on oral implant surgery and tissue regeneration.
