Don Clem

Biography

Dr. Don Clem received his certificate in periodontology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Clem is a recipient of numerous awards, including recognition for outstanding contribution to the field of periodontics from the California Society of Periodontists. He was also co-recipient of the American Academy of Periodontology's Clinical Research Award for his publication on implant function in regenerated bone. Dr. Clem is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fuchard Academy. He has served the profession in a number of capacities, including as Past President of the American Academy of Periodontology. He currently serves as a Director of the American Board of Periodontology. He has published and lectured internationally on periodontology, regeneration, implants and the management of implant complications. Dr. Clem maintains a full-time practice in periodontology and dental implant surgery in Fullerton, California.
