Joannis Katsoulis

Biography

Prof. Joannis Katsoulis graduated in 2002 and received his Doctorate (Dr. med. dent.), postgraduate Certificate in Prosthodontics, Master of Advanced Studies in Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry (MAS), Certificate in oral Implantology (WBA), Habilitation (PD), and Professorship (Prof.) from the University of Bern, Switzerland (CH). He runs a private dental office in Grenchen (CH) and serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Reconstructive Dentistry and Gerodontology, University of Bern (CH). He holds an appointment as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia (USA).

Computer-assisted technologies in implant dentistry and CAD/CAM materials are his main research interests that lead to > 40 articles in high-ranked peer-reviewed journals. Prof. Katsoulis is recipient of several scientific awards and serves as reviewer for scientific journals and as board member of different dental associations.
