Peter Moy

Biography

Dr. Peter Moy received the DMD degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1978, and completed a general practice residency at Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu in 1979. He received his speciality certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery from the University of California in Los Angeles in 1982. Currently, he is a Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UCLA. He is the Nobel Biocare Endowed Chair in Surgical Implant Dentistry and Director of the Dental Implant Center at UCLA. Dr. Moy is a Past President (2010/11) of the Academy of Osseointegration. He lectures worldwide on a variety of topics, mainly dealing with reconstruction of the deficient alveolar ridge and guided surgery.
