Steven Moss

Biography

Dr. Steven Moss received the DMD degree from Tufts University in 1991 and the Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the University of Connecticut in 1995. He became a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1997 and of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology in 2005. Dr. Moss maintains a faculty position at Hackensack University Medical Center and is former Section Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Pascack Valley Hospital. In 2010, he and his colleagues established the first Malo Clinic in the USA. Since then, he has been part of the Malo Clinic Education team, helping train other dental professionals in “All-on-4™” treatment protocols.

Fixed rehabilitation of an edentulous maxilla

A 62-year-old male presented with tooth #16 FDI (#3 US). Despite the lack of bone volume posteriorly, he had sufficient volume anteriorly and an abundant amount of keratinized tissue making him a good candidate for an All-on-4® treatment concept with a hybrid restoration.
